I don't think I could possibly love this place more! From the minute I stepped foot inside this beautiful bridal boutique in the heart of Clifton Village in Bristol I was in love! And if you hadn't guessed, The Mews Bridal Gowns of Clifton is where I got my wedding dress as well as my bridesmaid dresses.

The experience starts outside. As soon as you approach the boutique you are greeted by a beautifully dressed window always showcasing one of the stunning gowns in their collection. And with gorgeous decor, shimmering gowns and sparkling chandeliers the boutique itself adds to the whole experience of making you feel a million dollars.

You are greeted like you are the only bride to grace the lovely wooden floorboards of the boutique and made to feel incredibly special. Led by Gail and her team of Mewsettes, they let you try on whatever you fancy and with their fantastic knowledge will also help you find the dress of your dreams. As I found...

Inside the wonderful boutique

I discounted my dress on first look. One I didn't want lace. Two it wasn't the shape I thought would look right on me. And three I didn't like the look of a black and white dress. However the lovely team suggested I try it on firstly as they felt the shape would be good for my figure and two, they knew the colourings of the dress would work well with my complexion. And weren't they right! The dress made me feel amazing and very quickly I had found the dress.

They have a small team and each bride is appointed a member of The Mews to look after you for ongoing appointments as well as being joined by Gail. Amanda their seamstress is also absolutely brilliant ensuring your dress fits to perfection. They all really care, excited to hear of the planning process and how things are going. It makes the experience so special and personal. Simply an amazing service.

Every appointment was lovely and I still miss going in today. I do pop in whenever I am passing and am hoping that my friends find the gown of their dreams in The Mews so I have even more reason to go back!

The Mews stocks the following designers; Suzanne Neville, Jenny Packham, Stephanie Allin, Temperley of London, Laure de Sagazan, Delphine Manivet and Cymbeline. They also stock TwoBirds dresses as well as accessories by Polly Edwards and Jenny Packham and shoes by Rachel Simpson.
